Six Flags Great America transforms from theme park to scream park for the 19th Annual Fright Fest. There are plenty of spooky activities for the whole family including 2 haunted houses, shows, parades, scare-friendly kids play areas and your favorite heart pounding roller coasters. Goblins, ghouls and werewolves are waiting for your arrival at the park.

Experience fall family fun at Didier Farms' Pumpkin Fest. Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin. Enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo, cornmaze, halloween shop, farmstand, fall produce, and apple & pumpkin donuts made daily.

Long Grove's 16th Annual Apple Festival is a wonderful way to spend a fall weekend in a beautiful country setting. Eighty shops and restaurants help celebrate with unique seasonal gifts and merchandise. The festival features everything apple from cider donuts, carmel apples, brown bag apple pies, apple popcorn to apple martinis. There will also be entertainment and music all weekend long.

The world's largest corn maze is located in Illinois at Richardson Corn Maze. The main maze this year is "Race to D.C" which features symbols for each political party for this year's presidental election. You may also take a short walk or wagon ride to a smaller castle maze. Find your way through the mazes with flashlights or the light of the moon as Richardson Corn Maze is open late every night.
